During the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic you may have questions about routine neutering and/or vaccinations. Here are some guidance notes released recently by the BSAVA which you may find useful.
We are currently not carrying out any routine neutering however the guidance notes explain the risk benefit process that we are following during the lock down and which may continue for the foreseeable future.
It is still important to keep your pet protected against diseases however there is some leeway on the timing of routine annual vaccinations. In most cases we are suggesting a delay of up to 3 months for boosters. If your pet is coming up to 3 months overdue and you haven’t heard from us then please give us a call.
