Radiography

We have a high frequency x-ray machine, ultra-violet sensitive film and an automatic film processor which enables us to go from dry to dry in 90 seconds.  This means really rapid results from high quality equipment.

Safety is a high priority; every operator wears a monitoring badge, the walls are lined with Barium and the doors with lead (that’s what the colours in the floor plan represent) to stop x-rays passing beyond the controlled zone.

Animals will usually require a sedative or anaesthetic while being x-rayed as in the picture above.
