Scrub Sinks

These are a vital step in maintaining correct surgical technique.

The sinks are located outside the theatres to reduce aerosol contamination.

The taps and soap dispensers have elbow handles and each surgeon will perform a minimum of  a five minute scrub using a sterile brush prior to each procedure.  They will then put on sterile gown and gloves once in theatre.
