Operating theatres

We have 2 operating theatres, both of which are reserved exclusively for sterile procedures.  Theatres are cleaned daily when in use and instruments and drapes are sterilized between procedures.  Surgeons wear sterile gloves and gowns when operating and all theatre staff wear clean scrub-suits, caps, clogs and masks.

By maintaining strict standards we ensure that each surgical procedure is conducted in a sterile manner thus reducing the risk of post operative infection.
