Continuous care

In order to build on the treatment given by veterinary surgeons in cases of long term disorders in pets such as kidney, dental or joint disease our senior nursing team have established a continuous care scheme.

The scheme is designed to help you monitor the progress of these conditions and to better manage them by looking at diet, exercise, the need for physiotherapy and so forth.  When required nurses will also take blood samples and monitor other things such as blood pressure, joint mobility and muscle development.

The scheme will allow you to have regular check-ups with the nurse in charge of your case and give plenty of opportunity for you to discuss any problems or concerns you may have, no matter what they may be.

The continuous care scheme is run in addition to the usual treatment by a veterinary surgeon which is given as usual. It will allow a more ‘holistic’ approach to cases, giving you more time to get things just right for you and your pet.

Nursing appointments themselves are free of charge although any specific tests carried out or diets prescribed would be chargeable.
