About Orchard Veterinary Group

Our custom built, specialist premises are a bit of a local land mark, easily visible as they are just off the bypass, next to Torcraft, not far from B&Q and the Texaco garage.

We pride ourselves in setting high standards for both customer and patient and this has been reflected in our recent appointment as a level 2 Veterinary Hospital. We have a lot to offer from a veterinary medical perspective as well as good, friendly levels of customer care from all our staff.

We deal both with companion animals, for instance dogs and cats, and also farm species, especially cattle. The Practice is well equipped with many diagnostic aids including X-ray,  ECG, Fibre Optic Endoscope, Ultrasound Scanners and Pulse Oximetry.  We also have a fully equipped laboratory offering a same day results service for many clinical tests.

We have two dedicated, sterile operating theatres separated from a clean preparation area. There is a separate dental suite. Air conditioning and waste gas scavenging are built in.

There are four consulting rooms and a large comfortable waiting room to reduce waiting time.

Being situated in a country area means a significant amount of time is taken up with farm visits. Not only do we deal with sick and injured animals, we also provide services to help our clients with health and welfare plans. Much of the data is processed by our own computer and clients are sent regular updates.
