Our team of farm vets offer a balance of experience, skills and a wide knowledge of local conditions as well as prestigious qualifications and a profound understanding of what makes the dairy herd tick. Working closely with our farm clients we offer advice and guidance on a variety of issues including herd health, fertility, mastitis treatment and prevention which are provided one to one on farm and in our regular, highly popular farm meetings.
We have not one but two Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons recognised specialists in Cattle Health and Production on the farm animal side working direct on the coal (or should that be sileage!) face with our team of farm vets. Martin Green, has been a dairy practitioner since 1987 and currently holds the Chair in Cattle Health and Epidemiology at the University of Nottingham. Enjoying both the challenge of cutting edge research as well as hands-on work with our dairy farmers Martin is our senior farm animal partner. James Breen is similarly highly qualified and experienced holding the Royal College Certificate and Diploma in Cattle Health and Production and a PhD from Bristol for studies into risk factors for bovine mastitis.
